I did not receive my confirmation email nor am I receiving any emails from World Wide Mates? The reason you are not receiving emails from World Wide Mates in most cases, is due to that you are using a web based email provider such as, “hotmail”, “msn”, “yahoo”, “gmail” etc. Because you are using one of these email providers and World Wide Mates is not in your contact list, any email sent by us is ending up in your junk or spam folder. In order to receive email from World Wide Mates you need to add worldwidemates.com to your contact list or safe list of any of the web based email providers that you are using. Depending on which one you are using you can enter us with any or all of these email addresses: worldwidemates.com, info @ worldwidemates.com, csr @ worldwidemates.com privacy @ worldwidemates.com and/or webmaster @ worldwidemates.com. |

By mistake I selected the wrong gender, how do I have this corrected? If you have selected the wrong gender you will have to email our admin with your nickname/ID and the correct gender by clicking here. |

How can I get a new password? Members have full control of their passwords. To change your password simply login to your account and go to your members control panel. Click on “My Profile” on the left menu. Scroll down until you get to the password field and enter the new password you would like, then click on the save changes button at the bottom of the page. Your password has now been changed. |

How do I change my nickname? To change your nickname, you must contact our administration by clicking here. Include your desired new nickname in quotation marks and if it is available we will change it for you. Nickname must be from 5 to 15 characters long. |

Is there any computer or software requirements needed to use chat? The only requirement needed in order to use chat is the Adobe “Flash Plug-In” for your web browser. You may download and install by clicking here. |

What are the chat rules?
Our rules are simple however strictly enforced so that everyone can be provided a comfortable, safe and entertaining environment in our chat rooms. They are as follows: Do not inundate the room with repeated messages. *Remember it is your responsibility whether or not you chose to give out any of your personal information. World Wide Mates is not held responsible for any information that is exchanged in the chat rooms. World Wide Mates reserves the right to monitor the chat rooms and take the appropriate actions when necessary. |

How do I upgrade my account? To upgrade your account you must login using your nickname/ID and password. Once logged in go to your member control panel, in the menu on the left side you will see a link called “Membership”. Click on this link. Once there you will see your membership purchase choices. Select the one you wish to upgrade too and click on the “checkout” button beside your chosen membership level. On the next page select recurring payment if wish to have recurring payment, if not leave un-checked, then click the checkout button again. You are now at the CCBill payment page. Once there be sure to select the same membership level and whether recurring or non-recurring from the drop down list of payment options. Note: if you do not select the same membership level and recurring or non-recurring as you did previously your account will not be automatically upgraded. Now fill in all the details required for payment. The username and password fields are to be filled in with your nickname and password used on World Wide Mates. Click the “complete this purchase” button and your done. |
